Mark Perry works alongside our golf course maintenance team as a spray tech. While his duties are primarily behind the scenes, the fruits of his labor certainly don’t go unnoticed. Mark has been employed with Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club for over three years. His favorite place in the world to be is his hometown, Biloxi, Mississippi; however, being on a bass boat fishing is a close second. If you cross paths with him on the course, be sure to say hello!
What’s your favorite part of your job? Getting to be up first thing in the morning and watching the rest of the world wake up
What’s the most challenging part of your job? It can be challenging at times to get things done with the level of play on the course.

Tell us something about yourself that would surprise us. I’m a good cook/baker.
Where is the best place you’ve traveled to and why? Honduras. The food is great and it’s beautiful.
Who inspires you and why? My parents – they did whatever it took to provide for me and my sister. It didn’t matter the adversity they may have been facing – they’d overcome it.
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would it be and why? John Wayne. Who wouldn’t want to meet John Wayne? I mean, he’s the Duke!
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Fly an airplane
If you won the lottery, what’s the first thing you’d do? Buy a sweet boat
