Santa Rosa Beach, Fla. (December 2, 2019) – Today, Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club released a video interview showcasing golf course architect, Bill Bergin who unveils what club members and the community can expect when “the new course” opens. Renovations are planned to begin winter of 2021 with a fall 2021 completion date.

Once complete, Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club’s new design will be challenging for the most skilled golfers, yet fun and friendly for the recreational player. Greens complexes will offer a wide variety of options for recovery and boast ample playing areas. In addition, short game skills will be frequently challenged.

“We want to be that hidden gem that isn’t so hidden that people talk about,” says Bergin. “We are going to transform this golf course bringing the beach to this property.”

Recently, the club held a grand opening for its new short game area. The new practice area shows a great compliment and prelude to the upcoming course renovation with a large green, two bunkers and the ability to hit both pitch and chip shots. Bergin unveils that preview in his interview. (click image link below)
