  • To-go orders continue to be available.
  • Hours of operation:
    • Tuesday – Saturday 11am – 2:30pm (lunch) and 5pm – 9pm (dinner)
    • Sunday 10am – 4pm (brunch)

COVID-19 UPDATE (May 21, 2020)

Beach Club: Effective May 22

  • The pool will re-open. Space and chairs will be limited and on a first come, first served basis.
  • Accompanied guests are allowed. Unaccompanied guests are not permitted at this time.
  • Staff will be frequently cleaning and we kindly ask our members and their guests to be diligent in ensuring we keep within important social distancing and cleaning guidelines. The provided disinfectant should be used to wipe down chairs after use when visiting the pool.
  • All members and guests must check-in with the pool monitor upon arrival for credentials to be verified and to receive a wristband. Wristbands are to be worn at all times.
  • Members should verify account info is up-to-date to ensure seamless service (eligible children added to account, any name changes, etc.)
  • Please note that due to the required 6 foot distance between beach chair set-ups, space is limited. Chairs will not be set up until you arrive and will be given on a first come, first served basis.

  • Mulligan’s Grille is open for carry-out only. No dining or congregating inside.
  • Orders can be placed at the bar or by calling 850.267.2229 x 6.
  • Hours of operation are: Monday-Sunday 8:00am – 4pm

Golf Course: Effective May 22

  • Accompanied guests of members allowed to play (limit 3 guests per day).
  • Family members may share carts. All other players must continue to ride single.
  • Walking is encouraged.
  • Tee times on 10 minute intervals, 1 group to #1 tee at at time.
  • Golf shop hours of operation are: Monday 6:30am-2pm | Tuesday – Sunday 6:30am – 6pm

COVID-19 UPDATE (May 13, 2020)

Today, our beach services vendor, La Dolce Vita has reopened to serve our members! The team at La Dolce Vita is dedicated to the safety of their staff and members they serve. Click here to view their safety protocols they will adhere to until further notice.

If you have not signed up for your season beach chair package, please complete the beach agreement form and email to accounting@santarosaclub.com. They will continue to offer daily and half day rates as in the past as well.

COVID-19 UPDATE (May 1, 2020)

Today, our beaches reopen! Additionally, as a result of state executive orders this week, Vue on 30a will be able to reopen with restrictions effective Tuesday, May 5. Kindly find the most updated information regarding club operations below:

Vue on 30a – Effective May 5

      • Restaurant on-property dining will be open to members and their accompanied guests only during our initial reopening phase.
      • Reservations are encouraged by calling 850.267.2305. Online reservations not available at this time.
      • 25% capacity allowed indoors and outdoor dining with six feet spacing between tables.
      • Limited menu will be offered during this time and can be found at www.vueon30a.com/menus.
      • To-go orders will continue to be available to both members and non-members.
      • Hours of operation are: Tuesday – Saturday 11am – 9pm | Sunday 11am – 6pm.

Beach Club – Effective May 1

      • Beach is open for members only.
      • Our county is prohibiting all beach vendors which includes beach chairs.
      • Personal chairs and umbrellas are permitted.
      • Individuals on the beach shall limit their activities to walking, jogging, fishing, swimming, paddleboarding, surfing and boating.
      • Groups of more than ten (10) people are prohibited, and a minimum of six (6) foot social distancing shall apply.
      • Pool and deck will remain closed during this initial phase.
      • Restrooms will be available.
      • Pool bar will be open beginning at 10am for drinks.
      • Carry-out orders from Vue on 30a’s kitchen will be available during the day. (pool grill will remain closed at this time)

Golf Operations – Effective May 1

      • Accompanied guests of members allowed to play. Guest must play with member and charge back to member account only (no cash or cards). (limit 3 guests per day)
      • Maintain single cart riders only (first come, first serve). Children are allowed to ride with parents.
      • Walking is encouraged.
      • Tee times on 10 minute intervals, 1 group to #1 tee at at time.

COVID-19 UPDATE (April 28, 2020)

Today, the Walton County BCC voted to reopen beaches effective May 1 with restrictions. As a result of this vote, Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club will begin the first phase of reopening in some areas with restrictions. Please read this important club update to learn how your club plans to operate during this initial opening phase.

Beach Club – Effective May 1

      • Beach is open for members only.
      • Our county is prohibiting all beach vendors which includes beach chairs.
      • Personal chairs and umbrellas are permitted.

Vue on 30a and Mulligan’s Grille operations remain closed for regular dining per the executive order which remains in place until May 8 at this time. However, we encourage members to take advantage of Vue on 30a’s To-Go Menu which can be found at www.vueon30a.com/menus.

In addition to the above, the club will be required to ensure the social distancing guidelines as set forth by the CDC are being adhered to. We kindly ask our members to be diligent in ensuring we keep within these important guidelines.

Santa Rosa will continue to take several measures to ensure the safety of its members and staff. For example, temperatures will be taken before starting shifts, requirement to wear protective gloves and masks and added cleaning/sanitizing of club areas/restrooms each hour among other items.

We anticipate modifications to be made as we receive additional information from local officials, state officials and recommendations as set forth by the CDC. As these items become available, we will continue to keep our membership updated.

COVID-19 UPDATE (April 24, 2020)

Since our last update, local county officials called an emergency meeting on April 23, 2020 to not only hear from our Sherriff on how his officers will be able to service and properly manage any changes to the orders, we heard from our TDC representative that was able to give current and projected occupancy numbers of those visiting the area but local officials also listened to citizens from the community and their feedback. See below for the results of this meeting:

Walton County BCC Directs County Attorney to Draft Language to Open Beaches on May 1st

During their 11:00 a.m. meeting on Thursday, April 23rd, the Walton County Board of County Commissioners (BCC) voted to direct the County Attorney, Sidney Noyes, to draft language regarding the opening of Walton County’s beaches, and to bring he language forward at the April 28th BCC meeting for a vote.

As part of the direction, Noyes will be drafting language that would allow all Walton County Beaches to open on May 1st with no time restrictions regarding access. Additionally, the following items are to be included in the language:

• Continue the ban on all beach vending
• Require that social distancing guidelines as put forth by the CDC are being adhered to
• Limitation of allowed activities in accordance with Governor’s Executive Orders

This item will be included on the agenda for a final vote during the BCC’s regular meeting on Tuesday, April 28th at 9:00 am in the DeFuniak Springs Board Room located at 571 U.S. Highway 90 in DeFuniak Springs.

COVID-19 UPDATE (April 22, 2020)

Our update on April 1, 2020 reflects current operations as of today. However, with several neighboring counties beginning to announce the reopening of the beaches, we wanted to give you an update in Walton county.

We will continue to follow state and local orders as they come. On April 30 or May 1, it is anticipated that we will receive information from our state officials. Once this happens, our local county officials will meet to determine what is best for our county. As soon as we have more information, we will be able to communicate our club’s plan to members.

COVID-19 UPDATE (April 1, 2020)
Please Read this Very Important Club Message
First and foremost, we hope this email finds you, your family and friends well at this time. As our state and local officials continue to monitor COVID-19, we will also continue to make adjustments and modifications as needed and required. Please see our most recent updates below.

CHANGES TO REGULAR CLUB OPERATIONS
BEACH Our private beach access is now closed. While members have done a great job in keeping usage low, our county is facing challenging times right now in keeping other private access points at low usage. Our community is in this together and we feel that closing our beach at this time is the right thing to do in order to support our area as a whole.

GOLF The golf course and practice areas will be open to members only. Our starters will also have additional information and best practices while on the course when you arrive. Additionally, please see important details below.
>Walking is encouraged. Carts are available for single passengers only unless you live in the same household.
>Social members may play up to 15 times at their regular rate. Once this threshold is reached, social play will not be available until we reopen.
>Tee times will be spaced 15 minutes apart.
>No group gatherings before or after play.
>Only one group on a tee box at the same time while practicing proper social distancing.
>Every ever other station on driving range will be available.
>Please note that violations of these regulations may cause total closure of the golf course.

OUTDOOR GROUP FITNESS Our group fitness has been cancelled at this time.

POOL Our pool remains closed at this time.

VUE ON 30A Dining at Vue on 30a is closed. We encourage members to support your club and service staff by taking advantage of call ahead/pickup orders by calling 850.267.2305. Menus can be found here.

MULLIGANS GRILLE Closed but providing beverage cart services on golf course.

STAFF Many members have called or emailed to ask about our service staff and their well being. The best support club staff could receive at this time is to continue what you are doing. We thank so many of our members for your patronage to Vue on 30a take out orders and when service is provided to you while at the golf club, thanking the staff with your service tip back to your member account goes a long way.

We understanding this is a challenging time for many as we navigate through these adjustments. We very much look forward to serving our members and guests to our full capacity again very soon.

COVID-19 UPDATE as of March 16, 2020
Please Read this Very Important Club Message
With Coronavirus (COVID-19) news top of mind, it is our due diligence to rely and adhere to the recommendations of professionals due to our vulnerable population. What does that mean? Your club will continue to operate; however, there will be changes and modifications to several activities. We will continue to evaluate this information on a daily basis; however, at this time your club will adhere to the below guidelines until further notice.

Please use your best judgement – We are very grateful that Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club offers so many outdoor activities that allow members moderate exercise, in the sun and away from the crowds. With that said, at the recommendation of the CDC and other health professionals, we encourage everyone to use their best judgement. If you are not feeling well or may be at risk, please refrain from visiting the club at this time.

CHANGES TO REGULAR CLUB OPERATIONS

GOLF The golf course and practice areas will be open to members only. Walking and social distancing of 6 feet or more is encouraged. For those who ride, we kindly ask you to ride separate. Carts will be on a first come basis. More instructions on safe and best practices will be available upon arrival by our starters.

OUTDOOR GROUP FITNESS Our smaller outdoor clinics and fitness groups will remain active. We again ask everyone to use their best judgement in practicing social distancing.

BEACH – Our beach is open to members only at this time.

POOL Due to the size of our pool area and business levels, our pool area will be closed. The pool bar will remain open for drink and food orders. The pool will remain open for our small group fitness classes where large groups are not present.

VUE ON 30A Our dining room (indoor and outdoor) at Vue on 30a is closed. Call ahead/pickup orders are available by calling 850.267.2305.

MULLIGANS GRILLE Clubhouse dining area (indoor and outdoor) closed. Pick up orders will be available.

CLUB EVENTS
All large gatherings will either be cancelled or postponed until further notice. If you have already registered for one of the below events, you will not be charged. This includes the following:

      • Wednesday Members Night – cancelled until further notice
      • South Bay Ladies Interclub (March 19) – cancelled
      • Member-Member Championships (March 21-22) reschedule date being discussed
      • Sassy Sister’s March Getaway (March 23 – 24) reschedule date being discussed
      • Music on the Terrace (March 26) – reschedule date being discussed
      • Monthly Book Club (April 1 & May 6) – cancelled
