1. Reno Bash
January 2 will be a momentous day of celebration for the club. We can’t wait to commemorate the start of the golf course renovation and show appreciation for your support of the club.
2. Golf Course Renovation Begins
Together with Bergin Golf Designs and Medalist Golf, Inc., we’ll break ground on the golf course renovation on Monday, January 4. The new design will add about an acre to the current greens complexes which will allow for more hole locations and a more dispersed traffic pattern. 3. New Menu Launch
New year, new menus! Executive Chef Isley Whyte has added some delicious new items to the lunch and dinner menus at Vue on 30a.
4. Golf Clinics and Schools
Make improving your game a new year’s resolution! Join Carter and Kean for a complimentary group clinic, available for men and ladies of all skill levels. Ladies will meet on Tuesday, January 19. Men will meet on Tuesday, January 26. Clinics will be held from 10-12 pm with Schoony’s 19th Hole open for lunch to follow. Additional opportunities to be announced.
5. Holiday Celebrations
Executive Chef Isley Whyte and his culinary team make holidays delicious at Vue on 30a. Whether it’s an elegant Valentine’s Day dinner, a casual Easter brunch or a festive Fourth of July BBQ, each holiday is a memorable affair with an exquisite menu, beautiful presentation, exceptional service and breathtaking views.
6. Golf Course Tours
See the changes and progress firsthand with a behind the scenes guided tour of the golf course. Members will have opportunities to participate during various stages of the renovation.
7. Member Specials
Join us at Vue on 30a for Members Night every Wednesday and Friday in January and February from 5:00-9:00 pm to receive 35% off food and beverage. Every Thursday in January, head over to Schoony’s 19th Hole for a Burgers & Brews lunch special from 11:00-2:00 pm. Stay tuned for the announcement of Schoony’s happy hour specials.
8. Hospitality Training
Our management team will be launching a series of hospitality training sessions for all core staff members to take our service to the next level for members.
9. Driving Range Concert
Grab your picnic blankets and lawn chairs and settle in on the driving range for an outdoor concert. More details coming soon!
10. Junior Golf Programming
Whether it’s parent-child skills contests, group clinics, schools or individual lessons, your junior golfer will have many opportunities to develop their skills and love of the game with Assistant Golf Professional, Kean Vonada.
11. Craft Beer Dinner
Calling all beer lovers – this is an evening you won’t want to miss! Join us at Vue on 30a on Thursday, March 25 for a delicious dinner paired with brews.
12. Sassy Sisters
This ladies group provides a wide range of social opportunities such as luncheon presentations, group activities, overnight trips and outdoor adventures. The Sassy Sisters have been raising funds for “Project K-9” to support the acquisition of another K-9 for Walton County Sheriff’s Office. Stay tuned for additional event information, fundraising announcements and season finale plans for April!
13. Fitness Meet Ups
Member-led group fitness meet ups are a great way to meet other members and stay faithful to your new year’s fitness goals. Visit the club calendar for current opportunities and stay tuned for additional meet ups to resume in the warmth of the spring. No RSVP required.
14. Music on the Terrace Series
Join us to dine on the terrace to the sound of local singer-songwriters with the waves crashing in the background. Music on the Terrace returns in the months of March, April and May.
15. Trivia Night
Gather your team and compete for prizes and the ultimate bragging rights. Join us for casual fare and friendly competition on Thursday, May 6.
16. Book Club
Open to all members, book club meets on the first Wednesday of each month from 3:00-5:00 pm at Vue on 30a. Come ready to discuss and exchange your current favorites. No RSVP required.
17. Schoony’s 19th Hole Upgrades
Thanks to Operation Lipstick and many generous member donations and contributions, Schoony’s 19th Hole will be receiving many significant upgrades such as new flooring, furniture, televisions and a transformed bar area.

It’s back! Get ready for the 2021 Masters Party to include a par 3 contest, betting pool and more.
19. Kids Summer Series
Dive in to summer fun with the Kids Summer Series beginning in June. Available to member’s children and grandchildren, the 2021 series is complimentary and fun for all ages.
