    AQUA FUSION YOGA (AF)
    TIME: 8:00 – 8:30
    LEADER: NANCY GROSS (Terri Wozniak backup)
    DESCRIPTION: Practice blending breathing techniques with a variety of Yoga poses to promote balance, core strength & mind-body awareness while taking full advantage of the resistance, support and gentle massage of the water. Namaste…
    In Nancy’s absence, Terri will lead an Aqua Tai Chi class.

    Aquatic gloves & shoes, water shoes, buoyancy belts, noodles, Nekdoodles ®, resistance weights (aka bells), ankle weights, and misc. clothing options for classes are available in a variety of locations.  Some common ones often used by class leaders and other participants are listed below.  See one of your instructors/leaders if you have specific questions.

    AQUA FITNESS ZONES (AZ)
    TIME: 8:30 – 9:00
    LEADER: KRISTEN JUNKER (Dianna Owings & Alane Siem backup)
    DESCRIPTION: Complete a variety of aerobic and resistance exercises at different “zones” in the pool and when the whistle blows, off to the next zone your group will go. This fast-paced class will emphasize movement in all joints and is appropriate for all fitness levels.
    EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Water shoes recommended; all equipment used at stations provided by Leaders

    USE YOUR NOODLE (UYN)

    DESCRIPTION:  Water noodles are utilized to stretch, strengthen core, improve balance, and tone all muscle groups. This class encompasses full range of motion, engages all extremities and has intervals of moderate cardio work.
    EQUIPMENT NEEDED: Water noodle; water shoes (optional)

    Held in the West Wing of Vue on 30a, Book Club is a Santa Rosa Golf & Beach Club members only club. For more information on Santa Rosa membership, contact Sarah Brazwell at sarah@santarosaclub.com.

    Unlike many book clubs, at Santa Rosa’s Book Club, each person reads books of their own choosing and then provides a short report to the group.  Some members read library books, others read on electronic devices, and many read hardcover or paperback books.  Available books are shared with others from month to month until they have completed circulation among the group. Once read by all who desire, books are returned to the owner (if desired) or are donated to our local library. Even if you haven’t read a book, please join us as you may just discover THAT BOOK you can’t put down! RSVP is not required to attend.
